How long the candles are allowed to burn?
Avoid burning the candles for more than 3 or 4 hours at a time (2 hours for the mini candles 35g).

How long does the candle burn?
Our candles burn time:
-Tealight candles (18gr) burn up to 5 hrs each.
-Mini candles (35gr) burn up to 10hrs,
-Large candles (220gr) burn up to 30hrs.
Our candles have been tested in every way. However, burn times may vary based on the environment or certain factors. The way you treat and care your candles will affect their performance. Please always see and follow the directions prior to burning the candle.

Do I need to trim my candle wicks?
Yes. To prevent your soy candle from producing black soot and burn properly, always trim the wick to 3-5 mm before each use.

Why do I have a candle tunnelled?
This may occur because the wax is not melting properly. Allow enough time for the wax to melt completely to the edges of the container to prevent "tunnelling". It is essential for the first burn!

How can I fix the candle tunnelling?
You can simply wrap around the edges of your candle jar with aluminium foil, and let it burn at times until the wax begins to melt at the edges. Once you have seen the layer of melted wax on the edges, you can remove the aluminium foil.

Can I still burn the candle if the wax is about 10 mm left?
We do not suggest burning the candle if there is only about 10 mm remaining wax. It will lead the candle tin becoming very hot because not enough wax to absorb the heat.

What should I do if there is black smoke coming out from my candle?
Most of candles might be produce black smoke if you burn them for a long time. We do recommend you to always trim the wick about 6mm (cotton wick) & 3-5mm for wood wick. You can just simply pinch off the black debris on top of the wick with your fingers or using the wick trimmer. The benefit of trimming the wick is to ensure the candle is safe and burn properly.

How do I light a wood wick candle?
You can light the wood wick candle as same as like you lit the cotton wick. Light your wood wick from the edge and let the flame catch the wick surface to fully burning. Then you can listen the beautiful crackling sound company your precious time.

How if I trimmed the wick too short and couldn't lit properly?
Keep calm :) This may occur sometimes! You can use a paper towel or napkin to soak the melted wax and it will go back to normal. If it is still not, you can scrape off the wax around the wick (you can use the wick dipper) and try to light it again.

Can I reuse the candle tin?
Absolutely, YES! Our packaging is reusable and recyclable. First you have to remove the wax left of the jar. -You can easily place your nearly empty candle in the pot or a bowl, then pour hot water around it. -Wait until the wax melted for several times. Then you can start to remove the wax. -Remember to use gloves or tools to take out the wax if it is still hot. -Then you clean the wax residue using paper towel. Please remember, DO NOT pour the wax melted residue into the drain or else you will get another big job to fix the clogged sink. It happened to us accidentally! >.<
